La Mirange MED Scar

Composition

Prickly pear cactus extract, Refined sesame oil, Betasitostirol, Dexpanthenol, Alpha-tocopherol Acetate, Diethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether.

This composition contains beta-Sitosterol 0.25%.

Additional Ingredients: Purified water, Refined arachis oil, Carbopol 980, Triethanolamine, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, Isopropyl myristate, Phenoxyethanol.

Cream for external use in a tube of 30 g and 50 g.

Properties of components

Opuntia extract reduces the formation of hypertrophic scars due to the inhibition of type I collagen and increase of type III collagen; boosts regenerative skin properties; promotes scar remodeling, its smoothing by enhancing microcirculation in the scar tissue; has a protective action against UV radiation; has antimicrobial properties; moisturizes the skin.

Dexpanthenol improves healing due to the activation of fibroblasts; reduces inflammation; decreases itching and pain, occurring at the site of a scar; reduces skin irritation; moisturizes.

Beta-sitosterol speeds up healing by reducing transepidermal water loss and moisturizing the skin; has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties; eliminates itching, promotes the biosynthesis of hyaluronic acid.

Vitamin E participates in the skin regenerative processes, contributes to healing.

Sesame oil helps to cleanse and soothe the skin, maintaining a hydrolytic protective layer.

Glycol Monoethyl Ether powerful solubilizer associated with skin penetration enhancement in topical dosage forms which boost the function and efficiency of the herbal active ingredients.

Description

Prevention of scarring:

  • after cosmetic procedures such as microneedling, dermabrasion, peeling;

  • posttraumatic scars (burns, stab wounds, cut wounds, etc.);

  • postoperative scars (caesarean section, plastic surgery and other surgical interventions);

  • hypertrophic scars (after burns, etc.);

  • keloid scars;

  • scars after chickenpox and shingles;

  • scars after laser correction;

  • acne scars;

  • atrophic, sunken scars;

  • stretched scars;

  • skin erosion caused by exposure to chemicals, freeze or dryness.

Route of administration

For pathological scar prevention, La Mirange® Scar cream is recommended to use within 20 days after wound epithelialization (healing) or removal of postoperative sutures.

This cream should be applied on the clean skin surface in a thin layer, gently massaging with your fingertips for 5-10 minutes. Apply 2-4 times per day. To increase the therapeutic effect of this cream, application using ultrasound is possible. The minimum course of treatment is 30 days.

For extensive forming or formed scars, this cream should be applied by pressing movements for 10-15 minutes. In severe hypertrophy, the additional use of an elastic bandage or compression clothing is required. Apply 1-2 times per day. The application of a cream-soaked bandage on the area of cicatricial deformity is possible. It should be changed daily. In case of extensive scars, the course of treatment is from 3 months to a year and depends on the individual characteristics and type of scars. A positive effect is commonly observed within 1 month of the regular use of the cream.

For hyperpigmentation removal, apply a small amount of cream by massaging with your fingertips for 5-10 minutes until fully absorbed. Apply 1-2 times per day.

For acne scars, apply 3-4 times per day by massaging with light movements for 2-5 minutes.

For itching relief, massage the problem area for 5-10 minutes, and itching will be relieved.
