One DR-capsule contains 8 billion of lactobacilli of 3 strains (L.rhamnosus, L.casei, L.acidophilus) and acid-resistant non-anuimal enzymes such as papain, amylase, lipase, bromelain, lactase, alpha-galactosidase.
Enteric delayed-release capsules (DR-capsules) for oral use.
Properties of components
Multizan® ProBiotic Enzyme contains a combination of 6 non-animal enzymes and 8 billion probiotic lactobacilli of the well-studied and widely used health promoting Lactobacillus casei group (LCG) as an active ingredient. Due to long experience in the use of these types of lactobacilli for fermented foods, they are recognized as safe in the EU and USA (QRS status according to EFSA, EU and GRAS status according to FDA, USA). Important lactobacillus properties include:
- creating optimal conditions for the digestion and absorption of nutrients;
- reducing the manifestations of lactase deficiency;
- synthesis of vitamins and improving the absorption of calcium and iron;
- modifying lipid metabolism and lowering cholesterol levels;
- neutralizing toxins;
- immunomodulatory activity.
Antibiotic use and intestinal infections can cause adverse microflora modifications or dysbiosis. Dysbiosis, as well as malnutrition, stress and age-related changes lead to enzyme deficiency and intestinal disorders such as bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea or constipation.
Non-animal acid-resistant enzymes such as lipase, amylase, papain, bromelain, lactase and alpha-galactosidase in Multizan® ProBiotic Enzyme’s composition are involved in the digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Lactase helps with dairy intolerance.
Alpha-galactosidase contributes to reducing excessive gas and bloating.
The combination of lactobacilli and enzymes helps with dysbiosis and enzyme deficiency to eliminate abdominal discomfort, improve digestive processes, and strengthen health.
Lactobacilli in Multizan® ProBiotic Enzyme’s composition are resistant to antibiotics and retain high viability both when storing and passing through the gastrointestinal tract. Advanced delayed-release capsules (DR-capsules) are dissolved in the intestine and thus protect lactobacilli from gastric acid damage that ensures their viability and effectiveness.
Multizan® ProBiotic Enzyme is used as a source of probiotic lactobacilli and non-animal enzymes for the comprehensive support of digestion and restoration of the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract in the following cases:
- bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort;
- digestive aid in case of enzyme deficiency;
- improving the absorbtion of dairy products;
- improving the functional state of the intestine in case of intestinal disorders (diarrhea or constipation).
Route of administration
1 capsule 2-3 times per day before or during meals for adults and children after 6 years.
